1. ABOUT GAFFFF: 

1.1. The Global Agribusiness Forum will also become a reference festival for culture, music, and gastronomy. This is the GAFFFF (“Festival”), to be held at Allianz Parque on June 27 and 28, starting at 08:00 am. The GAFFFF, like the Global Agribusiness Forum, organized since 2012, is carried out jointly by: DATAGRO, Sociedade Rural Brasileira (SRB), Associação Brasileira de Produtores de Milho (Abramilho), Maizall - International Corn Alliance, Associação Brasileira dos Criadores de Zebu (ABCZ), Associação Brasileira de Proteína Animal (ABPA), Associação Brasileira dos Produtores Exportadores de Frutas e Derivados (Abrafrutas), Bioenergy Brazil, and União Nacional do Etanol de Milho (Unem). 

2. PURPOSE

2.1. This Privacy and Data Security Policy aims to establish the rules for processing your collected data and to make clear the commitment of the Global Agribusiness Festival to ensure the protection of the requested data, in compliance with the applicable legislation, especially the General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais) (Law No. 13,709/2018).

2.2. The Global Agribusiness Festival is deeply committed to safeguarding your privacy and security. 

2.3. Firstly, read the Terms of Use of the Global Agribusiness Festival. 

2.4. Unless indicated otherwise, this Privacy Policy refers to the use we make of any personal data that we collect or use in relation to the Festival, Festival sites and their respective subdomains, including those related to registration for participation in the Festival, online surveys related to the Festival, messages sent through applications, portals, or websites of the Festival, notes and descriptions created in the applications and portals of the Festival, and official social media channels of the Festival. 

PART B – ABOUT DATA COLLECTION

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT: 

3.1. When we provide services, we collect and receive information in various different ways. In many cases, you can choose which information to provide. In some others, certain information is necessary for us to provide you with the services. 

4. PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED: 

4.1. We collect a variety of your information when you provide it directly to us, when we request it, or when you give us permission to obtain it from third parties. This information includes, but is not limited to:

• General registration information: when registering to participate in the Festival, you must provide us with basic information, such as name, address, email, phone number, and date of birth. 

• Payment information: when purchasing tickets to participate in the Festival, you must provide us with your name, address, phone number, email, credit or debit card, and/or bank details. This information will only be shared with authorized third parties, such as our payment providers, who perform the necessary tasks to complete the purchase transaction.

• Event surveys: we may ask you to participate in optional surveys about your experience at the Festival to help us improve it and for related business purposes.

4.2. The accuracy of the data provided by you is your responsibility, and the accuracy of this information is of utmost importance for the Global Agribusiness Festival to process it appropriately in your interest.

5. BROWSER OR DEVICE INFORMATION COLLECTED: 

5.1. We also automatically collect non-personally identifiable information from your browser or device when you use certain services or read a message from us, such as your approximate geographic location, your web request, browser type, browser language, web pages you visit before or after visiting the Festival website, URLs, platform type, click numbers, landing pages, page views, and the order of these pages, and the time spent on the pages.

1. Session: they are temporary and remain until the web page or browser is closed. They can be used to analyze Internet traffic patterns and to provide you with a better experience and contextualized content.

• According to ownership: 

1. First-party: they are owned by the Global Agribusiness Festival, which has complete control over the cookies. 

2. Third-party: they are owned by third parties, but included on your device through the services offered by the Global Agribusiness Festival.

• According to purpose: 

1. Strictly necessary: essential to enable you to use the services provided by the Global Agribusiness Festival, which could not be properly offered without these cookies. 

2. Performance: collect anonymous information about how you use and interact with the services offered by the Global Agribusiness Festival, allowing for recognition of your preferences and counting visits and interactions.

7.1. We use your personal information to contact you regarding your registration to participate, to notify you about any changes in our policies and practices, for business, sales, or investment purposes, and to respond to any requests or questions you may present to us. 

8. MARKETING: 

8.1. If you choose to receive our marketing communications, we will use your personal information for promotion and marketing, such as sending information about our future events and listing participating companies. 

9. TRACKING: 

9.1. We may use third-party tools, such as Facebook Advertising, Facebook Pixel Remarketing, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Google remarketing technologies. These tools allow us to understand and display ads, making them more relevant to you. The data collected remains anonymous. Therefore, we cannot see the personal data of any individual user.

10. ADVERTISING: 

10.1. We use your personal information to show you ads and advertisements on other websites. 

10.2. To help us have a better overall understanding of you as a customer, we combine your personal data collected through cookies, form submissions, when you request to receive our communications via email, for example. To do this, we also combine the data we collect directly from you with data we obtain from third parties to which you have consented. These third parties include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. If this combination allows you to be identified, we will treat the combined information as personal data while it is.

11. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR INFORMATION

11.1. We rely on various justifications for legally processing your personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We process your personal information:

12. OUR LEGITIMATE INTERESTS

12.1. As indicated above, in certain cases, we use your information when necessary to comply with our legitimate interests, yours, and those of third parties. These cases include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing and enhancing security measures in relation to our websites, applications, and services in general, protecting you and other individuals from fraud, spam, and abuse;

• Recording sales and other calls in line with our commercial interests in the training and development of our staff (where you have not objected);

• Using your image in our marketing materials to highlight participants in our events. We also use photos and audiovisual images from past events that may contain your image or voice; and

13. RETENTION OF INDIVIDUALS’ DATA: 

13.1. We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary, up to a period of three years after the collection of this information, to achieve the objectives established in this Privacy Policy, such as providing the Services to you. We may also need to retain some of your information for a longer period to fulfill our legal and regulatory obligations, settle judicial or arbitration disputes, and enforce our Terms of Service.

14.1. The security of your personal information is important to us. We strive to use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Despite these measures, the Internet is not a completely secure environment, and we cannot guarantee that your personal information will not be intercepted or accessed inappropriately.
